Nourishing Amy‘s stuffed dates make for an excellent alternative to dipping into the chocolate box after dinner. Keep them refrigerated for snacks to pick on throughout the week ā€“ much like protein balls ā€“ or serve them up after your next dinner party.

By combining dairy-free nut-based spread from Nush Foods, with Form’s chocolate peanut-flavoured Performance Protein, you’ll achieve a creamy, cheesecake-like consistency that’s dangerously tempting to eat by the spoonful. Stuffed in dates with an extra helping of your peanut butter of choice, then dipped in chocolate, the result is as pleasing to the tastebuds as they are on the eyes.

Ingredients

  • 50g Nush Foods almond cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp Form chocolate peanut Performance Protein
  • 8 dates
  • 8 tsp peanut butter
  • 50g fairtrade dark chocolate

Instructions

To make the peanut butter chocolate cheesecake filling, stir together the Nush Foods almond cream cheese and the Form protein until thick and creamy. Pit and slightly open all the dates, then stuff with the cheesecake filling and a teaspoon of peanut butter. To finish, melt your chocolate and drizzle over one end of each date. Extra points go to those who decorate with frezze-dried raspberries and desiccated coconut.
