5 Years of Form: Celebrating Our Milestones and Looking to the Future
After 18 months of research and design, Damian Soong, Natalia Bojanic and Peter O’Donoghue officially launched Form in March 2017, crafting plant-based proteins for your body and responsibly-sourced nootropics for your brain, while also believing in building the business as a force for good, with charity, sustainability, and education at its core.
“We started with a simple belief… that you can realise the greatest version of yourself while being mindful of others.”
This is Form’s journey.
2017
On launch Form creates the Form Feeding Fund to provide food to patients at Bansang Hospital in The Gambia and those that accompany them to the hospital. Previously many patients would abscond before being medically discharged if they had no money for food. The success of the fund means that now our support extends not only to food but also pharmaceuticals and transport for patients.
2018
Voted best protein powder by The Telegraph. “Form are changing the game. With their cool, mindful packaging, Form is a market disruptor and a welcome one at that”. Other critical acclaim comes in from Men’s Health, Women’s Health and Tatler.
2019
Having been put through a months-long certification process, Form becomes the first UK protein brand to become a B Corporation. It also starts using its own specially designed biodegradable packaging and begins omitting plastic scoops from all pouches to minimise plastic waste, as well as exchanging the air pockets that previously protected shipments with recycled paper.
“We don’t see the point of being a business if you aren’t doing good in the world. In our view, companies have a social, economic and environmental responsibility to bring positive impact to society.” – Natalia Bojanic, co-founder of Form
2020
Swimming against the tide of the pandemic, Form launches direct-to-consumers in the US, offering its full range of products and educational content platform, inForm, to those across the Atlantic. Meanwhile, Form starts popping up on bus stops and buildings around London, Bristol, and Brighton, as part of its first outdoor media campaign.
2021
Form introduces its first vegan meal replacement, Peakblend, to the market, releases the first print issue of inForm magazine and launches in Holland & Barrett stores across the UK, joining previous stockists Planet Organic, Boots and Harrods (among many others).
This means that Form is now stocked by more than 1,000 retailers in the UK.
2022
After pandemic-induced delays, Form is proud to launch its first stateside pop-up retail space with Preview Miami alongside running shoe brand APL and activewear maker Spiritual Gangster.
Form also begins its partnership with carbon offsetter SeaTrees and continues to work closely with Climate Partner, as it builds towards a Net Zero future.
