A delightful and zesty cherry smoothie bowl that is perfect as a pre or post workout meal as cherries are packed in important nutrients such as potassium, magnesium and anti-inflammatory compounds that contribute to endurance and exercise recovery.

Ingredients

  • 100ml Cashew milk
  • 30g Superblend/Performance Vanilla or Pureblend
  • 150g Frozen cherries
  • 50g Frozen bananas
  • 1 tbsp Chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp Orange zest
  • 1 tsp Orange blossom water

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen cherries and banana in a powerful blender and wait 5-10 minutes for them to soften before blending.
  2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl prepare your protein cream by mixing Performance/Superblend Vanilla or Pureblend, orange blossom water and cashew milk (If using Pureblend, sweeten to taste). Pour the mix into the blender, add the chia seeds and blend until creamy and smooth. 
  3. Top with granola, almond butter, cherry compote and enjoy!
