The taste of the chocolate peanut powder is great but the amount of protein is pretty low and the calories are very low for the dose they recommend. most proteins require anywhere between 20 and 25g scoops whereas to get the “30g of protein” you need to load your shaker with 40g of the powder.
Essentially, if you want to get enough protein per shake, you will probably end up finishing the pack in no time..!
This is partly my fault, as I ordered from the mobile site, and I couldn’t find the calories and could find the “key nutritionals” section.
You cannot fault the taste, so for that, I rate it a 3 – but I wouldn’t recommend if you are trying to lose weight and need help keeping your protein high.
Hi Lara, very happy to hear you enjoy the taste! Chocolate Peanut is definitely a favourite. To get 30g of protein you need 40g of powder that is correct, obviously it would be impossible to achieve with 25g! The pack has 13 servings and if you didn’t want to use so quickly or have less than 30g protein per serving you can always use less. What’s most important is your total protein intake over the course of the day. Thanks for your feedback and we hope this reply is useful.
Loved it. Nothing else to add.
Nothing to add here either! 🌱🙏
I really like the chocolate salted caramel protein powder, my favorite way to have it is to mix with some Greek yogurt and whip it together. I comes out like a smooth chocolaty caramel mousse. Its great added to just water also for a quick post workout drink, and doesn’t taste chalky like many other protein powders on the market. Definitely worth the purchase.
Thanks for sharing Kimberley, it’s always great to hear the different ways our customers use their products!
It is great and not as grainy – but way too sweet. I’d really really reconsider the formula on sweetness as even if I add half a liter of water it still knocks me out. Also very hard to manage the sweetness if you still want to hit the 30g of Protein, as 2 scoops makes it even worse!
*THE SCOOP*
Well done to Form – this is hands down the best vegan protein that I’ve tasted.
BUT, if you have to hit a protein target every day, do not rely on the “2 scoop” rule.
For an accurate serving, you must weigh out 40g with scales.
All other proteins I’ve tried use level scoops for the servings – 2 level scoops with Form only weighs 30g.
You’ll be missing your targets unless you heap your scoops, which is not particularly scientific…
Super happy you love the protein! We’ve spoken on email about scoops and value your feedback there, we’ll look how we can make this more accurate! 🙏
