Salted Caramel Espresso Smoothie
A shot of espresso delivers caffeine for focus, alertness, and endurance. Frozen banana provide fast-release carbohydrates and potassium to prime muscles for training.Â
Ingredients
- 40g Superblend Chocolate Salted Caramel
- 60g Frozen banana
- 30ml Espresso shot (cooled)
- 200ml Unsweetened almond milk
- 5g Form Micronised Creatine Monohydrate
- 4 Ice cubes
Instructions
- Brew one shot of espresso and set aside to cool. This can be done ahead and kept in the fridge.
- Add all ingredients to blender and blend on high for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth. Too thick? Add a splash more almond milk.
- Pour into a glass. Finish with a light dusting of cacao powder and a pinch of sea salt to enhance the salted caramel notes.
- Brew the espresso ahead and chill in the fridge - hot liquid will melt the ice and thin the texture.
