A shot of espresso delivers caffeine for focus, alertness, and endurance. Frozen banana provide fast-release carbohydrates and potassium to prime muscles for training.

Instructions

  1. Brew one shot of espresso and set aside to cool. This can be done ahead and kept in the fridge.
  2. Add all ingredients to blender and blend on high for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth. Too thick? Add a splash more almond milk.
  3. Pour into a glass. Finish with a light dusting of cacao powder and a pinch of sea salt to enhance the salted caramel notes.
  Tips:
  • Brew the espresso ahead and chill in the fridge - hot liquid will melt the ice and thin the texture.
