If you are looking for a simple way to bring more flavour to energy balls, orange zest is a straightforward solution to refresh your taste buds. In addition, orange peels have more phytonutrients and flavonoids than the inner pulp. The peel also contains a potent anti-inflammatory and rich in vitamin A and C. A perfect treat to help fight infection and colds in the winter season!

Ingredients

  • 150g Medjool dates
  • 100g Roasted almonds
  • 3 tbsp Almond milk
  • 2 tsp Coconut oil
  • 40g Performance Tiramisu
  • 1 tsp Orange zest

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and process until all ingredients are well combined.
  2. Using your hands, squeeze and roll the crumble mix into balls.
  3. Optional: Coat balls in cacao powder and orange zest before serving.
