Brain Boosting Protein Balls
The foundation of this protein ball will feed your brain and your gut.Walnuts are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acid called alpha-linolenic acid (ALA); studies have shown it improves memory and cognition. Dates have high levels of prebiotics and soluble and insoluble fibre, making this a super smart snack!
Ingredients
- 150g Walnuts
- 150g Pitted medjool dates
- 30g Performance/Superblend Vanilla/Pureblend
- 1 tbsp Hempseed
- 1 tbsp Coconut oil
- ½ tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Fresh ginger
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ⅛ tsp Ground nutmeg
Instructions
- In a powerful food processor, blend all the ingredients together until it has a sticky crumble-like consistency.Squeeze it into small balls.
- Store them in the fridge and eat within a week.
