Chocolate Hazelnut Protein Bites

Think of them as a healthier nod to your favourite chocolate-hazelnut spread—chocolaty, nutty, and naturally sweetened. Packed with plant-based protein and healthy fats, they’re the perfect on-the-go snack or post-workout reward that feels like a treat.
Ingredients
- 150g Blanched roasted hazelnuts
- 30g Performance Chocolate Hazelnut
- 20g Cacao powder
- ⅛ tsp Salt
- 40g Hazelnut butter
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 100g Medjool dates
- 2 tbsp Water (if necessary)
Instructions
- Blend the dry ingredients – In a food processor, blend the hazelnuts, protein powder, cacao and salt, until finely ground.
- Add the wet ingredients – Add the dates, hazelnut butter vanilla extract and water pulse to combine.
- Check the texture – If the mixture is too dry, add a tablespoon of water (one at a time) and blend again until you can press it into a ball.
- Cut into squares – flatten the mixture into a small 6/7 inch square container lined with baking paper. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to harden and then cut into squares.
