Neapolitan Smoothie Bowl
It’s our healthy and nutrient packed version of the famous Italian ice cream, which originally was made with pistachio (green), vanilla (white) and cherry (red) to match the colours of the Italian flag. According to Wikipedia, the combination of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry became the standard, because these flavours were more accessible in the USA. And now here at Form, we’ve added our own twist by adding Tiramisu and Matcha flavours to this smoothie bowl. Molto bene!
Ingredients
- 70ml Cashew milk
- 20g Superblend/Performance Vanilla or Pureblend
- 150g Frozen cherries
- 1 tbsp Chia seeds
- 1 tbsp Orange zest
- 70ml Cashew milk
- 10g Performance/Superblend Vanilla
- 70g Frozen avocado
- 1 tsp Matcha powder (we used Cloudcha Matcha)
- 2 tsp Pistachio butter
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
- 50ml Cashew milk
- 20g Performance Tiramisu
- 100g Frozen banana
- Granola
- Coconut yogurt
- Fresh cherries
Instructions
- Place the cherries in a powerful blender and wait five minutes for them to soften before blending.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl prepare your protein cream by mixing powder and plant-based milk (if using Pureblend, sweeten to taste).
- Add the mix into the blender, add the chia seeds, orange zest and blend until creamy and smooth.
- Pour into the smoothie bowl and repeat the same process with the matcha and tiramisu layer.
- To perfect the presentation, try to blend in the layers to create an interconnected effect.
- Top with granola, coconut yogurt, fresh cherries and enjoy!
