- 2 tsp Ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp Clove
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 pears
- 1–2 tbsp maple syrup
- ½ tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Halve the pears and scoop out the cores. Place them cut-side up in a small baking dish.
- Drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Add 2 to 4 tablespoons of water to the base of the dish to prevent sticking.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until tender and lightly caramelised around the edges.
- Add the oats, oat milk, cinnamon, ground ginger, clove, nutmeg and vanilla extract to a saucepan.
- Bring to a gentle simmer over low to medium heat, stirring regularly to prevent sticking.
- Cook for 5 to 8 minutes, until thick and creamy.
- Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly for about 1 minute.
- Stir in the Performance Vanilla (or Pureblend). If using Pureblend, add the optional maple syrup at this stage. Mix until smooth, adding a splash of extra oat milk if you prefer a looser texture.
