Cookies are renowned for being sweet, buttery treats – but they do not have to be. Fitness Grains brings us a tahini twist to the chocolate chip cookie, suitable for anyone following a plant-based diet that does not want to sacrifice their protein intake or their indulgences. They are also gluten-free, with a scoop of our Performance blend for good measure.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pourable tahini
  • 1 cup coconut sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 cup filtered water
  • 1/2 to 2/3 cup chopped dark chocolate
  • 1 cup Form Performance Tiramisu

Instructions

Mix together the tahini and coconut sugar into a cream, then add the vanilla extract. Separately, mix the oat flour, baking soda and sea salt, before adding to the tahini and sugar mixture with the water. Add the chopped dark chocolate. Line a baking tray and place 12 evenly-sized balls of cookie dough on it. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 180ºC. Allow to cool before moving (or eating!)
