Definitely a favourite at Form’s HQ! Torrone (Italian Nougat) is normally high in sugar, so by adding our Performance protein and using a sugar-free spread, this sumptuous treat can be enjoyed without moderation – maybe with a bit of moderation 😉

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Roasted hazelnuts
  • 300g Dark chocolate
  • 1 tsp Coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup Cacao & hazelnut spread (we used Valsoia)
  • 40g Performance Chocolate Hazelnut protein

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate and coconut in bain-marie
  2. Remove it from the hob, fold in the chocolate & hazelnut spread and protein powder until completely incorporated, and then add the hazelnuts.
  3. Add the chocolate mixture into a container covered with baking paper, spread it out evenly.
  4. Let sit until completely hardened either in the fridge or overnight at room temperature.
  5. In case you keep it in the fridge, let it out for a few hours to soften before slicing it.
