Toffee Apple Sponges

These vegan toffee apple sponges from The Urban Canteen are moist, easy to make and only take 13 mins to cook, depending on the size of your mould.⠀
Ingredients
- 270g self raising flour
- 40g Superblend Toffee
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 tbsp dark chocolate & hazelnut spread
- 2 cups plant-based milk
- 1 apple
Instructions
- Mix together the ingredients in one bowl until you have a nice batter. If it's too thick add a touch more milk.⠀
- Put the mixture in the oven at 160°c for 13-15 minutes.⠀
- For the topping dice some apple and caramelise in a pan with a spoon of light brown sugar and a drizzle of water.⠀
