Mocha Hazelnut Power Shake
This pre-workout blends espresso for a clean caffeine lift with frozen banana for quick energy and muscle-supporting potassium. It’s naturally sweet, satisfying, and a much better alternative to the sugar-heavy drinks you’ll find in coffee shops.
Ingredients
- 40g Performance Chocolate Hazelnut
- 60g Frozen banana
- 30ml Espresso shot, cooled
- 200ml Unsweetened almond milk
- 5g Form Micronised Creatine Monohydrate
- 4 Ice cubes
Instructions
- Brew and cool espresso and set aside to cool. This can be done ahead and kept in the fridge.
- Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend on high for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth. Too thick? Add a splash more almond milk.
- Pour into a glass. Finish with a light dusting of cacao powder and a pinch of sea salt to complement the chocolate hazelnut notes.
- Brew the espresso ahead and chill in the fridge, hot liquid will melt the ice and thin the texture.

- Consume 20–30 minutes before training for optimal caffeine timing.
