Can I use Superblend as a meal replacement?
Can I take Superblend if pregnant or breastfeeding?
We do not recommended Superblend for pregnant or breastfeeding women due to the added vitamins.
Pregnant women are more at risk from fat soluble vitamins such as Vitamin A.
As Superblend contains 50% and Peakblend contains 17% of the RDA for Vitamin A, we are required to include this disclaimer, since it could be harmful if you over consume the product.

I really wanted to like this protein, but unfortunately there are a few negatives that have really put me off buying it again.
1) way, way, way too sweet. I tried the chocolate peanut flavour – I know they are trying to cover up the taste of the greens – which I can appreciate, but it’s still a massive overload of sweetener which is very off-putting. It was a relief to get to the end of the bag.
2) doesn’t mix well, even in a blender. It separates and doesn’t hold the ‘shake’ texture that you get with other protein.
3) bag sizes are odd. Why only 12 servings?
It’s a shame as I really liked the ingredients but I can’t buy this again.

We really appreciate your feedback and everything does get fed back through to each department so we can improve continuously and make sure we provide the best products for our customers.
In regards to the sweetness – Superblend uses Natural Sweeteners (Stevia, Thaumatin – a protein from the African Katemfe fruit). The combination of all natural sweeteners provides a unique flavour profile and rounded taste. But we understand we all have our own preferences on sweetness, in this case sweetness tolerability varies between us. Which is one of the reasons why we came out with our unflavoured/unsweetened Pureblend, so customers can customise their own shake.
In regards to the texture: Our Superblend does not contain any thickeners or emulsifiers (unlike most other protein blends). We use higher grades of fine protein powders, such as organic pea which enable us to achieve the texture and mixability. We chose to omit thickeners and emulsifiers because they have been shown to contribute to digestive issues in sensitive individuals. In order to create the smoothest texture, we recommend blending the protein with ice or frozen fruits.
In regards to the serving size, our Performance/Superblend protein packs come in 13 servings per pack. This decision was based on wanting to keep the size at around 500g per pack, and in order to meet the nutritionals we wanted for these products, 40g/serving was what was needed. We do have customers that choose to use our protein only when needed and others will use half a serving a day so it will last them a month.

I ordered the Form superblend protein powder. It arrived promptly and I am really enjoying it. My children love it too. The flavour is very good, quite sweet, but I like that. The texture has a very fine grit to it, but not off puttingly so. It mixes very well with water, which is great. I feel full and this keeps me going all day. I have found I no longer have the 4pm sugar cravings and my energy levels are maintained throughout the day.

This is hands down the best protein I have ever used. I have some sensitivities around gluten, dairy and even some pulses and seeds at times. The added greens and enzymes are a godsend for me and I’ve just had to double my subscription as my son is also now using it to support him as he trains for the army! It makes me feel really happy that I can get decent nutrition in such a simple and tasty way. I have it in shakes, soaked oats and I make a mean protein ice pop with the choc peanut! I can’t say enough how great this protein is.

I had the chocolate salted caramel flavour and largely I liked it! It’s a lot better than many vegan proteins and it didn’t have the acidic sweetener aftertaste a high-street brand I tried had. It did have some kinda chewy bits in it, like less crunchy cacao nib bits which I didn’t mind but did make it a less smooth shake. I think the recipe could be improved a little, maybe a touch less sweet but otherwise a great start and I would buy again! If it cake in 1kg bags I’d buy more often 🙌
Thank you for your feedback Pip. We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying Superblend. In regards to the ‘chewy bits’ you mentioned. We’re sorry about that. Upon our investigation, this will be due to the flaxseed in this batch. Our team have had great difficulty in sourcing flaxseed from our usual suppliers at the time to producing this batch. Due to the huge shortage, we had no other options but to use a different supplier to normal. The flaxseed we managed to source was to the same specification, still a flour, but obviously even with this there can be slight differences between suppliers. Our team have confirmed that we are now back to our usual main supplier, so there should be no further discrepancies in organoleptic properties going forward. Thank you for understanding.
