This pre-workout blends espresso for a clean caffeine lift with frozen banana for quick energy and muscle-supporting potassium. It’s naturally sweet, satisfying, and a much better alternative to the sugar-heavy drinks you’ll find in coffee shops.

Ingredients

  • 40g Performance Chocolate Hazelnut
  • 60g Frozen banana
  • 30ml Espresso shot, cooled
  • 200ml Unsweetened almond milk
  • 5g Form Micronised Creatine Monohydrate
  • 4 Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Brew and cool espresso and set aside to cool. This can be done ahead and kept in the fridge.
  2.  Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend on high for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth. Too thick? Add a splash more almond milk.
  3. Pour into a glass. Finish with a light dusting of cacao powder and a pinch of sea salt to complement the chocolate hazelnut notes.
  Tips:
  • Brew the espresso ahead and chill in the fridge, hot liquid will melt the ice and thin the texture.
  • Frozen banana is the key pre-workout carb source
  • Consume 20–30 minutes before training for optimal caffeine timing.
