Fuelled by Form: Lana Scolaro on Cultivating a Soft Life
She’s a DJ, entrepreneur and social media darling with over 1.9 million Instagram followers, but despite her jet-set schedule, Lana Scolaro (@lanascolaro) says that her lifestyle is more intentional than ever before.
The 31-year-old was born in London, and began playing cello at the age of fourteen and guitar at sixteen – before moving to New York to study fashion and later, Los Angeles, where she began learning to mix in recording studios.
Inspired by the music scene in Ibiza, where she spends part of her time, Scolaro has DJed in front of thousands of people worldwide, supporting artists like Bob Sinclair and Anyma, and performing at the Ministry of Sound and Creamfields.
Despite having a job rooted in after-hours culture, Scolaro is a lover of balance and all things wellness, and likes to slot workouts and recovery time between flights and gigs. Speaking to InForm, the star gives us a peek into how she manages to find time for herself, as well as the importance of living a slow, unhurried life.Â
How did you first discover DJing, and what led you to the art form?
Music has always been emotional for me. DJing felt like the most powerful way to express that without speaking. It’s about controlling frequency, energy and atmosphere. I was drawn to the subtle authority of it, the ability to move people collectively through sound. It’s creative, but also deeply intuitive.
What does your ideal morning routine look like when you’re not traveling?
Very slow and very intentional. I wake naturally, hydrate immediately and open the windows for fresh air and light. I’ll stretch or do light mobility before anything else, grounding myself in my body. Then I always drink a cup of matcha. I try to avoid my phone for the first 30 minutes so I start the day in my own energy.
What’s one wellness ritual you never skip, no matter where you are in the world?
Protein and hydration. I prioritise nourishing my body first-thing because stable blood sugar completely changes how you feel throughout the day. It keeps my energy balanced and my mindset clear.
What does a typical day in fitness look like for you?
Strength training and Pilates are my foundation. I focus on posture, core strength and long-term muscle tone – not just quick results. I also walk daily. Low-impact consistency is underrated. It’s about building a body that feels strong and feminine, not depleted.
How do you stay motivated on days when you’re lacking energy?
I listen to my body instead of fighting it. If I feel low, I’ll shift into something restorative like stretching, a sauna session or a slow walk. Discipline doesn’t always mean intensity; sometimes it means choosing consistency in a softer way.
Beyond DJing, you’ve grown a huge social media following – what helps you stay grounded when life gets busy on and offline?
Protecting my private life. I’m selective about what I share and who I give access to. Wellness for me isn’t just physical, it’s mental boundaries, quiet time, and being present in real life, not just digital life.

What’s your favourite way to spend a Saturday?
Morning movement, matcha, a long lunch outdoors, and time with people who feel safe and inspiring. I love balance – productive but unhurried.
How do you approach nutrition?
Simple and intentional. I opt for high-quality ingredients, high protein, good fats and plenty of water. I don’t believe in extreme restriction. Instead, I believe in nourishment and sustainability. The goal, for me, is stable energy and long-term health.
How does Form support your goals?
It supports strength without heaviness. Clean plant protein helps with recovery, muscle tone and sustained energy, especially when my days are structured around performance, creativity and wellness. It integrates seamlessly into a routine that prioritises health from the inside out.
What wellness trends are you loving right now?
Longevity-focused wellness, strength training for bone density, hormone balance, gut health and nervous system regulation. I’m less interested in short-term aesthetics and more focused on feeling strong, stable and feminine long-term.
